Tommy Gunz's love of music started early in life when he would entertain his family by dancing to some of their favorite artists like the Jackson 5, The Jones Girls, Whitney Houston, and James Brown. Listening to local Chicago stations like V103 FM, WGCI, WKKC, Power 92, and Soul 1063 FM would fuel his passion for radio. With that mixture of music and video shows like Video Soul, Caribbean Rhythms, Yo MTV Rap, the Basement, and the iconic Soul Train, MTV, BET, and Friday Night Videos.

it was only fitting that he would find his place in the entertainment world. His journey began at Paul L Dunbar as a Radio/TV production major and sharpened his skills and knowledge at Kennedy King College. Where he became an on-air talent and music director. Furthering his educational experience and sharing his skills at Chicago State University, where he was the President of WCSU Radio and Program/Music Director.

These experiences groomed him for a position as a producer/board-operator at Crawford Broadcasting. One of the largest media companies in Chicago. Tommy Gunz's journey continued as a manager for local artists and Master of Ceremony for various events and productions through the Greater Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana.

He continues to pursue his career as the Station Manager and On-Air host of the Bridging the Gap Show and Radio Reconstructed for Hit USA Radio Station. A Chicago-based online radio station with a Global audience. Helping to re-energize and rebrand the station into a worldwide staple in the broadcasting industry.

Tommy Gunz is also a Voice-over artist, Motivational Speaker, Mentor, and Brand Ambassador for various events and a background actor for TV and movies.

Tommy Gunz's life phrase is,

" I Am all about Peace, Blessings, and Universal Love".
